Summary
NAVAIR PMA-208 Aerial Targets Program Office is seeking industry capabilities for a robust, high-bandwidth, and long-range communications solution for its Subsonic Aerial Targets (SSAT) fleet, including the BQM-177 and BQM-34 platforms. Current communications systems have limitations in range (~200 nautical miles), data rate, signal resiliency, and Link-16 connectivity, and the proposed solution must address the Command and Control transmitter/receiver layer while integrating with the System for Naval Targets Control (SNTC). The Government is considering awarding one or more Other Transaction Agreements (OTAs) pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 4022, potentially through the Naval Air Systems Consortium (NASC).
