The City of Pasadena is requesting information from Internet Service Providers regarding capabilities and approaches for a public‑private partnership to develop a citywide fiber optic network leveraging the City’s existing conduit, fiber, and utility pole infrastructure. Responses will inform options to expand broadband connectivity, avoid overbuild by understanding private assets, and initiate realistic discussions with ISPs.
