Summary
Removal of exterior siding and refurbishment of interior. Remove existing exterior vinyl siding, remediate any lead paint as required (faa has a new asbestos and lead paint report, available for the contractor to review), evaluate, in-fill any existing in-situ masonry openings, which may have been previously covered by the vinyl siding and any openings where previous windows, vents, etc. Were placed within the extents of the exterior masonry wall. The contractor shall repair any damage to the masonry wall, in-fill the openings, repoint any grout, while trying to match the existing adjacent grout joints. Once the masonry wall has been patched, then the contractor will need to seal the wall with an approved sealant and paint the exterior surface with an approved paint (reference the specifications).
