Laser Type and Architecture: The system shall meet the following minimum requirements: Type: Quantum Cascade Laser (QCL); Mode: Continuous-Wave (CW); Architecture: Distributed Feedback (DFB) or equivalent single-frequency design. Wavelength Requirements: The laser must tune through at least one CO₂ rovibrational absorption transition in the 4.31–4.33 µm spectral region. See attached file.
The U.S. Department of Energy’s National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) issued Solicitation 89243326QFE000539 seeking a turnkey Quantum Cascade Laser (QCL) system operating in the mid-infrared for planar laser-induced fluorescence (PLIF) CO2 measurements in combustion and reacting-flow environments. The contractor must deliver a complete operational system (laser head, driver/controller, thermal management, required cables, and documentation) meeting specified tuning/wavelength and output power requirements, with delivery expected by August 31, 2026. Responses are due July 10, 2026 at 2:30 PM US/Eastern; this is a federal procurement solicitation (not a grant) and attachments are available through the government’s submission portal (FedConnect) which requires registration to access full documents.

The scope of this requirement includes the procurement, installation, and integration of two lumenis digital trio laser system or equal for the lakeland and new port richey cboc eye clinics. It encompasses all necessary accessories, training for clinical staff, and ongoing technical support. The project covers ensuring full compatibility with existing electronic medical record systems and network infrastructure, as well as compliance with all applicable va regulations and standards. The systems will be used for a range of ophthalmic procedures, including but not limited to glaucoma treatment, retinal photocoagulation, and post-cataract care, supporting comprehensive veteran eye health services. See attached file.
The Department of the Air Force, on behalf of the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA), has issued a Special Notice (Notice of Intent) under solicitation FA700026Q0063 to award a firm-fixed-price sole source contract to FieldLine Industries for the procurement of four High-Performance Quantum Scalar Magnetometers. The sensors must operate on an optically pumped magnetometer principle with a sensor head weight of 19 grams or less and dimensions no larger than 20 mm x 20 mm x 40 mm, with sensitivity better than 1 pT/√Hz, bandwidth up to 500 Hz, an integrated low-power laser, a modular Electronic Control Unit, and synchronized multi-sensor array capability. Capable sources may submit capability statements by July 13, 2026 to determine if the government will transition to a competitive procurement.
