Qualified Scheduling Entity Services RFP

Description: New Braunfels Utilities (NBU) is soliciting proposals for Qualified Scheduling Entity (QSE) services to register NBU as a Subordinate QSE and provide scheduling, settlement, CRR account management, ancillary services bidding, and communication with ERCOT. The selected QSE will handle scheduling of energy, capacity and ancillary service trades, manage NBU’s Congestion Revenue Rights account, and perform associated settlement and market-information duties. The contract is expected to be one year with up to four additional one-year renewal terms and proposals are due July 17, 2026 (see submission deadline below).
