Suny Upstate Medical University

Renovation of approx. 8,000 SF on the third floor of the Upstate Downtown Campus to create a new class 2 interventional radiology procedure room, pre- and post-procedure patient care area, waiting room, a diagnostic ultrasound with patient toilet, patient holding bays, a resident lounge, offices, and other staff support spaces under Article 28 with the NYS Department of Health. This work includes but is not limited to, selective demolition, hazardous material abatement, general construction, mechanical, electrical, HVAC controls, and plumbing work, sprinklers, and coordination with new imaging equipment which will be supplied by others. In addition, this project will be replacing approximately 2,000 sf of roof. There will also be associated MEP work in the sub-basement, second floor to serve the third-floor renovations and a new roof top AHU.

Renovation of the existing entry cafe which includes all construction and services required to renovate the existing cafe space, remove and replace all finishes (i.e., flooring, ceiling, wall), install cafe equipment and appliances, provide pony stud wall partitions, countertops, as well as mept appurtenances. Modifications of existing fire alarm and fire suppression will be required, plus installation of staff lockers and shelving at the dry storage room and other associated improvements
