Preservation Microfilming of NH Newspapers

The State of New Hampshire (NH State Library) is soliciting a vendor to provide preservation microfilming of New Hampshire newspapers, including filming an existing backlog and ongoing incoming newspapers. The contract term is three years with options to extend for two additional three-year periods, and the vendor must deliver high-quality microfilm that meets archival standards and allow duplication through four generations. Mandatory requirements include use of a planetary camera with variable pull-down, a quality index of 8.0+ for the master negative, transportation to/from the vendor facility, and deposit of the master negative at Iron Mountain.
