Seeking a professional consultant to conduct public opinion and tax policy research; engage and coordinate with stakeholders; develop and move forward the adoption of state legislative proposals to expand the County's fiscal and governance options; estimate the financial impacts of various revenue options and fiscally- relevant charter/governance reforms; develop and potentially implement a public education initiative to inform the public about the County's fiscal and/or governance priorities, challenges, and opportunities; potentially prepare a local revenue-generating ballot measure, at the direction of the Subcommittee; and arrive at local revenue-generating fiscal strategy recommendations for the County.
