Nutrition and Wellness Coach Services (RFP)

Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills

The wellness coach will plan, develop and implement a service process designed to help improve the overall health and wellness of Township employees through the deployment of onsite, face-to-face coaches. The coaching process will be delivered directly to the workplace and integrate with, complement, and enhance existing strategies. The wellness coach will conduct one-on-one coaching in designated areas. Topics discussed include counseling and coaching regarding; wellness related lifestyle issues like nutrition and healthy eating, exercise, diet and weight loss, stress, blood pressure, smoking cessation, and the chronic conditions such behaviors cause; how to avoid, prevent, self-manage, and address musculoskeletal conditions or symptoms which may impede ability to perform job or lead to reportable injuries. Wellness coach should provide on-site health screenings (ex. blood pressure & weight). All coaching interactions with employees are completely voluntary and must be kept confidential.
