This RFP seeks proposals for structured data cabling, including approximately 940 CAT6 and 137 CAT6A drops, and single-mode fiber (OS2) cabling, for the New Commerce Elementary School.
Perform as needed day to day installation of new blue cat 6 and/or 6a data lines, troubleshooting of out of warranty lines, demolition of old cable plants, testing new and existing cables, including fiber optics, troubleshooting and terminating fiber and the installation of wireless access points throughout the university.

Provide design, installation, scheduled repair, emergency repair, move/add/change services, training, consultation, quotes, walkthroughs, documentation, and procurement required to support the king county telecommunication and data network inside and outside cabling infrastructure needs. Subcontracting Opportunities: Install low-voltage structured cabling (CAT6/CAT6A) terminations and testing, install fiber-optic backbone and cabling and patch panels and
certification, telecom room build-out (racks, grounding, cable management, labeling), Install wireless access point cabling and hardware, install VoIP and telephony cabling and punch-downs
and cross-connects, outside-plant low-voltage cabling (conduit, handholes, fiber pulls), remove abandoned cabling and restore pathways, telecom system testing, labeling, and providing as-built
documentation.
