The work to be performed under this section will be done using appropriate techniques as to not damage any historic flooring present under existing old carpet, wall cove, any molding which comes into contact with said historic flooring, and adjacent walls or items affixed to such. Before carpet removal begins, room will be checked, and plan will be made. In areas where carpet edge meets wall, and can be seen, carpet can be pulled up using normal practices. Care will be taken to avoid damage to carpet adjacent wall and any items affixed to such. See attached file.
