Nanofiltration Acid Tanks Replacement

Furnish all labor, equipment and materials necessary to replace two (2) existing sulfuric acid bulk storage tanks and two (2) day tanks including level transmitters and probes for each tank associated with the nanofiltration (NF) treatment process at the Town’s Water Treatment Plant. Work includes, but is not limited to, replacement of: tanks; fill, transport, overflow and vent piping; electrical panels, conduits, and wires/cables; compressed air piping for the bulk acid storage tanks; and installation of new desiccant air dry systems for both the NF bulk acid storage tanks and the reverse osmosis (RO) treatment acid tanks; as well as all related components and appurtenances required for maintenance of water treatment plant operations and to provide a complete and operational system.

Work includes complete restoration and replacement of the existing modified bitumen roofing systems on two existing industrial buildings.

The State of Iowa seeks professional design services to replace four existing single‑walled diesel tanks with two 25,000‑gallon double‑walled tanks and provide appropriate exterior spill containment at the Mt. Pleasant Correctional Facility. Scope includes full design disciplines, construction drawings and specifications (including routing/reconnection to existing fuel lines), survey work, code compliance, construction cost opinions, construction administration (RFIs, submittals, change orders, periodic site visits — minimum eight site visits), field observation reports with photos, coordination with utilities and AHJs, and bid assistance. Contract will be a modified ConsensusDoc 803; fee requested as a lump sum with detailed schedule-of-values and unit price per additional inspection visit.

The Iowa Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is soliciting professional design services to replace four single-walled diesel tanks with two 25,000-gallon double-walled tanks and provide proper spill containment at the Mt. Pleasant Correctional Facility. Work includes preparation of construction drawings and specifications, routing/reconnection drawings, field examination, material recommendations, survey work, coordination with state agencies, and construction administration. The project schedule targets contract execution in late January 2026 with construction occurring May–September 2026 and closeout in October–November 2026.
