Major elements include removal and disposal of existing natural grass turf and unsuitable surface material; import, placement, and fine grading of topsoil to establish a consistent playing surface with a low crown for drainage and mowing; adjustment and reset of existing irrigation heads to match the new grades; installation of the specified new natural grass sod in accordance with the plans and specifications; and related work including protection of existing improvements, temporary fencing and field closure, turf establishment period, and final site cleanup.
