Summary
Demolition of the remaining portions of the partially collapsed three-story masonry structure. Protection and preservation of the adjacent building and shared/common wall. Removal and legal disposal of demolition debris. The County will pay for all landfill costs. Separation and stockpiling of clean brick, concrete, and mortar for County reuse. All material shall be sorted, metal removed and scrapped. Clean brick loads to be hauled to the County landfill as clean material to be repurposed for other uses. Removal of all existing foundations to a depth of 5 feet. Basement floor broken up and left in place, and the void filled. Removal and capping of utilities back to the public right-of-way or property line in accordance with utility provider requirements. Backfilling and grading of the site following demolition. Construction of a weather-tight exterior wall assembly on the exposed adjacent building wall.
