Summary
Furnish and install a standing seam roofing system over the existing roof, including replacement of gutters and downspouts replacement; the installation of a new, florida rated, insulated standing seam roof system and new gutters. The roof shall be structural, 2", mechanically seamed, standing seam roof system constructed of 24-gauge galvalume with a mill finish. There shall be no exposed fasteners on the completed roof. Stainless steel rivets should be used on the ridge cap and flashing. Rubber grommet screws will be permissible on penetration boots. As the space now has supplemental HVAC installed, we are looking to remove the ridge vents and cover the area with a with a four-foot wide (two feet on each side) piece of 16-gauge metal over the openings and down the entirety of the ridge. Gable ends and rake flashings are to be installed using a cleat system to allow for no exposed fasteners.
