Construction of a new aeration blower building. The new Aeration Blower Building will be constructed supported by a pile foundation with a finished floor elevation located above the design flood elevation and include the installation of five (5) new direct drive single-stage integrally geared centrifugal (IGC) blowers, dissolved oxygen sensors, venturi flow meters, and associated PLC-based controls and Nassau County SCADA integration designed to deliver enough air across the range of operating conditions to support biological nutrient removal (BNR). The new aeration building will house a blower room, battery rooms, control room, transformer rooms, electrical room, mechanical room, mechanical area, DC distribution room, and miscellaneous support systems. A new overhead aeration header will also be constructed and connected to new process overhead aeration lateral piping with air drops connecting to the existing aeration grids in the individual aeration tank passes. Existing process aeration system and piping will be disconnected and decommissioned.
