University Health is seeking a qualified contractor for: The scope of the project, is an equipment addition and room renovation in an existing shell space for an IMRI and (2) OR rooms, ancillary support spaces needed (Control Room etc.) as well as additional to structural work to support an overhead mounted equipment for an area of approx. 2,500 SF. Site specific vendor drawings will be used for design coordination and full scope of work. Additional work includes general floor, wall, and ceiling finishes (as required by HHS and equipment vendors), new lead shielding as required by UH contracted medical physicist, LED lighting, lead glass view window for a newly designed control room, and equipment rooms. Additional mechanical, electrical and plumbing work is expected to meet equipment and state requirements. It has been confirmed that the existing Air Handling Unit serving the suite and rooms can support the additional scope of work for the rooms based on the previous TAB report performed during Schematic Design.
