Group Life Insurance

The U.S. Embassy in Addis Ababa (Department of State) seeks a contractor to provide group life insurance coverage for approx. 1,018 locally employed staff, including life, accidental death & dismemberment, and partial/total disability coverage, under a firm fixed-price contract with an economic price adjustment. Quotations are to be submitted electronically (separate financial and technical folders) to Addiscontract@state.gov and offerors must be registered in SAM; the government may award based on initial offers without discussion and plans a pre-quotation conference to be announced in the solicitation. The procurement has a base year plus four one-year option periods, carries no set-aside, and requires inclusion of Defense Base Act premium costs in proposals.
