Summary
The GLCS High School Weight Room and Wrestling Room Renovation Project consists of improvements to existing athletic and support spaces within Grass Lake High School. The work is intended to modernize the existing weight room and wrestling room areas, improve durability and function, support student-athlete training and competition needs, and provide finished spaces suitable for long-term school use. The project includes selective demolition, interior renovation, new and modified partitions, drywall assemblies, doors, frames, hardware, windows, flooring, wall base, ceramic tile, athletic flooring, painting, finishes, signage, and related architectural improvements as indicated in the Contract Documents. The work also includes coordination with mechanical, plumbing, electrical, fire suppression, and low-voltage systems necessary to support the renovated spaces. Exterior and site-related work may include access improvements, canopy work, grading, sidewalks, paving, landscaping, and restoration of areas disturbed by construction activities. Contractors shall coordinate their work with the Construction Manager, Owner, Architect/Engineer, and other trades to maintain the project schedule, protect existing construction to remain, and minimize disruption to school operations.
