Provide security glass and glazing services to include removal of the existing damaged glass, fabrication (on or off-site), and installation of detention grade glazing for inmate cells, cell doors, and other high-security areas. Contractor must supply durable, detention-grade, tamper-resistant, glazing materials that can withstand repeated impacts and remain intact upon forced entry/exit attempts.

Work includes replacement, repair or reconditioning of glass doors, windows and partitions at various city buildings and locations, on an as needed basis. Applicable glass types under this contract include, but are not limited to, tempered glass, laminated glass, insulated glass units (igus), annealed glass, patterned glass, safety glass, and fire rated glass. Required services include, but are not limited to: (i) replacement of broken or damaged glass doors, windows, partitions, related components, and incidental items; (ii) removal and disposal of existing glass panels and hardware, including cleaning and preparation of frames to receive new glass and insulation; (iii) measurement, sourcing, and installation of the appropriate glass type; (iv) resealing and weatherproofing as required; and (v) post installation cleanup and removal of all debris.
