The U.S. General Services Administration (Public Buildings Service) issued a Sources Sought notice seeking qualified general contractors to perform Phase II water infiltration remediation at the Alexander Hamilton U.S. Customs House in New York, NY, including façade restoration, roof/window/skylight replacement and conservation of murals and sculptures. The notice is market research only (FAR Part 10) and not a request for proposals; the Government expects to evaluate and later procure via a best value process under FAR Part 15.1. Responses (Letters of Interest with capability statements) are due by Jan 9, 2026 at 3:00 PM EST; the estimated construction magnitude is $70–$80 million with an anticipated NTP in Feb 2027.
