Harbor maintenance. Work is expected to include maintenance at the harbor’s North wall, such as, but not limited to, tree cutting, topping, herbicide application and vegetation removal. The objective of the project is to remove all unwanted vegetation, including small and large trees, shrubs, and invasive plant species, from the surface and crevices of the existing rubble mound breakwall/revetment. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District issued a Sources Sought notice to conduct market research for vegetation management and maintenance at Pointe Lookout Harbor in Au Gres, Michigan.
