FY 2026 Children’s Community Clinical Response (RFP)

Work include start a community clinical response program for children with intellectual disability, ages 8 up to age 20 who are experiencing significant disruption within the family home or returning to the family home after a hospitalization. The program will focus on establishing a positive behavioral support program within the family home, training family members on the program, modeling the program for the family, and supporting the family, in setting up appropriate, on-going in-home supports.

The Connecticut Department of Developmental Services (DDS) seeks proposals to develop, operate, supervise, and manage the Community Clinical Response (CCR) program to deliver in-home clinical and behavioral supports for individuals and their families. The work includes conducting functional behavioral assessments, creating positive behavior plans, training and modeling for family members and in-home providers, and providing nursing consultation as needed. The contract period of performance is January 13, 2026 through April 7, 2026, and the solicitation is open to all vendors.
