Summary
Combined Demolition and Decommissioning of the Former General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital (FGLWACH), Optical Fabrication Laboratory and Medical Warehouse Phase 2, and Site Improvements for the Hospital Replacement. The demolition of the former General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital (GLWACH) consists of the complete removal of the following buildings: hospital and clinic (B310), Central Utility Plant (B311), and temporary Helipad. The project shall include, but is not limited to, the abatement/removal of asbestos containing materials (ACM) and other regulated materials (ORM), disconnect and capping of utilities, diversion and/or disposal of all debris materials, and restoration of the site to a specified condition. Phase 2 of the Optical Fabrication Laboratory includes demolition of the west wall at the current mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) room, removing all equipment inside the MEP and capping all roof penetrations. The site improvements include site grading, parking, sidewalks, landscape, site lighting, wayfinding, and video surveillance.
