Work includes replacement of the existing grating over the influent channels in the east wwtp headworks building and other related items pertinent and incidental thereto, including the furnishing of all labor, materials, supplies, equipment, work and services, ready for satisfactory and continuous operation, in accordance with the drawings and specifications. Work shall also include all supervision, equipment, traffic control, granular backfill, pavement restoration (milling included), flushing, disinfecting, testing and all appurtenances necessary.

Provide screening and flow measurement equipment for wet-weather flows between the existing headworks and high-rate clarification (Actiflo) system, includes concrete channel structure with railings, cantilevered platform, and removable grating; one (1) mechanically cleaned screen rated for a peak 25 million GAL per day (MGD); one (1) 24" flume and level sensor for flow measurement; one (1) 36" plug valve housed in a valve vault; yard piping; and all associated electrical and controls for each.
