Summary
The project consists of the installation of a 25,000 gallon diesel fuel tank with supporting cast-in-place concrete foundation and fuel piping connections at an existing Fuel Depot on McNeil Island. Scope of work is indicated on the contract drawings and specifications. It includes the installation of a double wall, above ground 25,000 gallon diesel fuel tank with all required appurtenances (Emergency Vent Openings, Pumps, Valves, Alarms, Gauges, Safety equipment, etc.). A new 16' x 50' reinforced concrete foundation (pad) to support the tank will be installed with adjacent concrete-filled bollards, and will require necessary site work including excavation, placement of gravel around the pad's perimeter, compaction, and restoration. Work also includes installation of 80 LF of 2", double-walled fuel pipe and associated support infrastructure, connection to the existing fuel piping, and removal of temporary fueling infrastructure.
