Development of a Formulation-Agnostic Autoinjector Platform RFP

Description: The U.S. Army Contracting Command at Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) issued a Sources Sought (RFI) requesting information and design concepts for a formulation-agnostic autoinjector platform capable of single- and dual-chamber liquid and solid-liquid (reconstitution) formulations. The Government seeks a ruggedized, modular device meeting an FDA-validated reliability target of 99.999%, capable of delivering 0.4–2.0 mL (threshold) up to 5.0 mL (objective), meeting MIL-STD-810H ruggedization requirements, and addressing regulatory, cGMP manufacturing, and commercialization pathways. This posting is for market research only (Sources Sought / RFI), not a solicitation or grant, and identifies targeted compounds such as atropine, 2-PAM, midazolam, and naloxone for initial evaluation.
