Design & Construction of Public Safety Training Center - RFP

Forsyth County

Seeking qualified firms to partner with us on a Progressive Design-Build project for the Fire Department Training Center. This project will deliver a state-of-the-art training campus designed to support long-term operational growth, firefighter safety, and community readiness. The selected Design-Builder will lead all phases of design, preconstruction, and construction, collaborating closely with the County and our stakeholders from concept to completion.

Transportation Research Board

The objective of this research is to identify risk factors for opposite-direction crashes and investigate the safety, operational, and maintenance effects of center line barriers on previously undivided roadways. The research results will be used to prepare a guide with noteworthy practices, including safety performance and design considerations.
