Summary
Université Concordia, through its Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering (CME) in coordination with the Center for Advanced Sealing Technologies (CAST), is seeking a turnkey design, manufacture, integration and commissioning service for a modular high-speed test bench to evaluate carbon sealing systems for turbomachinery. The required facility must reproduce combined operating envelopes up to 35,000 rpm, 500 °C and 0–6 bar differential pressure while delivering traceable measurements of friction torque, inter-chamber leakage, radial displacement and temperature distribution. Bidding closed on July 27, 2026 via SEAO (Quebec's electronic tendering system) with delivery in the Montréal region.
