Summary
Seeking applications from organizations currently funded through a contract with the HCA substance use disorder (SUD) prevention and mental health promotion section, and/or the doh for youth cannabis and commercial tobacco prevention program to be considered for funding under the community problem gambling prevention pilot program. The program aims to reduce the incidence and risk of problem gambling within Washington communities, with focus on Youth, Young Adults, and parents. The goals include increasing awareness, promoting healthy behaviors, and strengthening community resilience through culturally appropriate education, outreach, and support. Funded organizations will empower individuals and families with the knowledge and resources needed to prevent gambling-related harm among Youth, Young Adults and/or parents.
