The City of Chamblee is requesting Statements of Qualifications from Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) firms for pre-construction services and construction of the Nancy Creek and Savoy Trail project. The work includes installing approximately 6,800 linear feet of 12-ft wide multi-use concrete trail, three prefabricated pedestrian bridges, retaining walls, ADA sidewalk connections, streambank stabilization, storm drainage, landscaping, erosion/sediment control, and related site work; the contract will cover pre-construction, subcontractor procurement, and construction services. CMAR contract will include the following services and work: Construction of a new diversion and headgate structure, including demolition of the existing facilities, temporary flow diversion, hydraulic control structures, gate systems, erosion protection, grading, and associated electrical, controls, and site improvements; preconstruction services including project management, design review, construction planning, cost estimating and cost management, schedule development, constructability reviews, risk management, quality planning, safety planning, procurement planning, and preparation of construction price and guaranteed maximum price proposals; and procurement services for solicitation, evaluation, and recommendation of subcontractors and suppliers for work packages.
