This project includes design-build services for a single-story office building, encompassing design, engineering, site preparation, utilities, and construction. The building will include office space, meeting rooms, restrooms, and support infrastructure.

Work will include both Core & Shell and Tenant Fit-Out of the space. The NOVEC HQ projects consists of a new, 3-story office building with a mix of exterior materials including brick veneer, precast, metal panels, aluminum storefront, and glazing. The new building will house the administrative and office functions for NOVEC, including the Board Room, executive offices, manager offices, conference rooms and open-style workstations. The new building will be connected to an existing 3-story office building via a covered employee courtyard that seamlessly connects to a large, shared employee break room. The building is 45’-0” tall with architectural embellishments at the main entry and corner to highlight the building with wide expanses of glass and sloped roofs. The building is approx. 60,000 gross SF, with an approx. 20,000 SF footprint. The structural system will be comprised of steel columns and beams with a concrete slab on metal deck at each floor and roof level. The roof will be reserved for mechanical space and will be surrounded by a parapet wall and screen walls as needed to conceal the rooftop units. The site work includes expansion of an existing parking lot. A new entrance to the site will be constructed on Balls Ford Road as well as a secondary entrance off Stonehouse Dr with an access road to the main building. A storm drainage system and underground utilities supporting the proposed building as well as a future Control/Operations building is also included in the scope.
