Brooklyn Bridge Park – Spring 2026 General Marine Contractor Services (RFP)

Seeks to hire a qualified general/marine contractor for the rehabilitation of the marine structures. The structural repairs at empire fulton ferry are comprised of applying epoxy grout for pile repairs, replacing deteriorated concrete and cleaning steel for substructure repairs, and replacing compressible material and flowable fill at the bulkhead. The repairs at fulton ferry landing are comprised of filling voids and sinkholes at the east bulkhead, repairing steel sheets and repairing spalls and filling grout on concrete pile caps on the pier, and replacing the reinforced concrete encasement at the gravity wall. Finally, the demolition and removal of the pier 4 transfer bridge will be performed entirely from the waterside using barge-mounted equipment. The transfer bridge structure is made up of: timber rail ties, steel rails/beams/girders, and a submerged timber platform and piles. All timber and steel materials will be removed to the mudline.
