The work includes selective demolition, renovation and improvements to the existing Brewster School District Annex Building, associated utility and site improvements, and accepted Bid Alternates, as indicated on the Drawings and specified herein. a. The building construction includes selective demolition, cast-in-place concrete, structural modifications to the existing building, structural and miscellaneous metal fabrications (including railings), limited rough carpentry, and interior finish carpentry, and non-structural metal stud framing, plastic paneling, commissioning of air barriers and building envelope, foundation dampproofing, building insulation and vapor retarders, formed metal wall panels, sheet metal flashing and trim, roof accessories (including snow guards), firestopping, joint sealants, hollow metal doors and frames, flush wood doors, overhead coiling doors, overhead sectional doors, door hardware, glazing, non-structural metal framing, gypsum board, acoustical panel ceilings, resilient base and accessories, resilient tile flooring (LVP), carpet tile, exterior and interior painting, visual display surfaces, dimensional letter signage, panel signage, toilet compartments, wall and door protection, toilet and bath accessories, fire extinguisher cabinets, fire extinguishers, miscellaneous specialties, food service equipment, manufactured casework, HVAC systems, plumbing systems, and electrical power, lighting, fire alarm, and communications systems, as indicated on the Drawings and specified herein. b. The site construction includes site clearing and demolition, environmental requirements and special grading, temporary erosion and sediment control, site and utility excavation and backfilling, grading, drainage control, storm drainage systems, sanitary sewer, potable water, fire service mains, gas, electrical, telecom and fiber services, concrete paving and flatwork, asphalt paving and patching, gravel surfacing, landscaping and irrigation improvements, and other site improvements, including (if accepted) work at additional District locations under Bid Alternates (such as high school fire lane work, high school bus lane and Sunset Road improvements, pickleball court, leased parking lot work, and elementary school access paving).
