Infield renovation of two (2) ball fields - remove all existing bases, plates, rubbers, and plugs; identify all pre-existing grades and conditions; consider the area of work to be all clay playing surfaces and extending 15' beyond the infield clay into the outfield grass area to regrade the lip and reestablish an accurate grass arch; undercut existing playing surface and 15' into outfield grass and dispose of unnecessary materials to account for 4" imported engineered infield clay; laser grade existing playing surface material and 15' into outfield grass to shed water to the low point on each field before placing overseeded 419 Bermuda sod and 4" imported engineered infield clay; laser grade 4" imported engineered infield clay, compact upon approval and completion; install overseeded 419 Bermuda sod in a 15' lip arch and establish proper arch dimension and shape, using large rolls, machine laid, no pallet squares or mini rolls will be accepted; install Dura Edge ProLoc Mound Blocks in batter’s boxes and catcher’s box should be 4" deep (each batter's box is 7'x3' and catcher’s box is 5'x5'). Leave extra blocks for later repairs; install 60' (on both fields), 70' (on both fields), and 80' (on C & H Field only) base plugs and new home plates; include irrigation repair budget to modify head placement and height as necessary, as grade changes through the process. Irrigation budget will be a lump sum on an as-needed basis; set up the Irrigation run schedule and ensure its proper function to establish new sod before the Spring sports season; repair any field damage caused by your company during the renovations.
