The Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) issued a Special Notice for a classified Industry Day on January 14-15, 2026 to engage industry on modernizing Very Low Frequency (VLF) receiver capabilities. The notice requests pre-registration by December 15, 2025 and will include classified (Secret) presentations and one-on-one sessions to solicit technical feedback ahead of an anticipated solicitation for design, development, testing, certification, and production of modern VLF receivers.
