Summary
This RFI, issued by DOE’s National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL), solicits data and expert commentary from industry, academia, and other stakeholders to support a Congressionally directed study on the emissions intensity of U.S. manufacturing in relation to the EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM). NETL requests facility- and product-level emissions and production data (CO2, N2O, PFCs), calculation methodologies, and other supporting datasets and analyses; submissions are voluntary and will not be reimbursed.
