Summary
The State of Michigan, through the Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB), is seeking professional architectural and engineering services to perform Phase 300-700 design work for an approximately 3,500 ft Semi-Improved Assault Landing Strip with a 300 ft runoff on each end at the Alpena Combat Readiness Training Center. This project was requested by the Michigan Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) on behalf of the Air National Guard (ANG), and the resulting strip will support troop-training activities by ANG REDHORSE units. The design must meet ANGETL 24-02 requirements and include geotechnical investigations, topographical surveys, and detailed cost estimates with submissions at 35%, 65%, 100% pre-final, and 100% final stages.
