Summary
Removal, disposal and replacement of various sidewalks throughout the City. The replacement sidewalks will be on an as needed basis and estimated at 10,000 SF for 2026-2027 fiscal year. Existing concrete from sidewalks shall be removed by excavation and rubble must be hauled away and disposed of properly. Replacement sidewalks must consist of 3500psi concrete with fiber and driveways 4000psi concrete with fiber. All replacement sidewalks must meet ADA compliant sidewalk standards and specifications. After construction of replacement sidewalks, the back of sidewalks must be backfilled with dirt, seed, and straw. Flaggers and proper signage “men at work” signs shall be placed during construction of removal and installation of sidewalks. No streets shall be closed without the approval of Public Works Department.
