Description: The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) issued Invitation for Bids IFB 122360 for the in-kind replacement of four rooftop HVAC units (RTUs) at the VDOT Lockwood Building, located at 9120 Lockwood Blvd., Mechanicsville, VA 23116 in Hanover County. The scope includes replacement of roof curbs and flashing, potential structural supports, refrigerant upgrades from R-410A to R454B with integral leak detection sensors, upgraded MERV 13 filters, BACnet MSTP controls integration, electrical reconnections with integral disconnects and receptacles, and lightning protection system reconnections, with no internal building modifications such as ductwork or VAV systems included.
