This document compiles several approvals by the Simi Valley Unified School District Board of Education on October 21, 2025. It includes: amendments with HMC Architects for Simi Valley High School (SVHS) Kitchen Modernization (revised to $640,677.50) and SVHS MPR Classroom Building (revised to $3,089,610.50); equipment procurement for SVHS MPR Classroom Building with Balfour Beatty Construction, LLC totaling $1,030,629; three separate amendments with Taller Dos Flores for classroom modernization at Big Springs, Hollow Hills, and Township Elementary Schools (each revised to $40,500.00); Change Order No. 1 with Ardalan Construction Company, Inc. for Sycamore Elementary School Classroom Renovation (revised to $742,211.67); Change Order No. 1 with Pre Con Industries, Inc. for Garden Grove Elementary School Classroom Renovation (revised to $926,009.68); approval for a replacement telephone system purchase for $113,690.32; and approval to adopt a Guaranteed Maximum Price for the new SVHS MPR Building construction project with Balfour Beatty Construction, LLC at a Total Project Cost of $41,241,995 (or $43,241,995 with alternate bid), with a Not-To-Exceed GMP of $45,500,000, subject to DSA approval. All these projects are funded by Measure X funds and span various architectural, engineering, construction, equipment procurement, and system upgrade services.
