This Shared Services Agreement is between Readington Township and the Readington Township Board of Education for the provision of police services to District buildings. The Township will assign up to four police officers to school locations for the 2025-2026 school year, starting September 2, 2025. The Board will reimburse the Township for half the officers' hourly rate ($41.25/hour) and full costs of specific salary increases for the 2024-2025 school year. The agreement sets maximum financial obligations for the Township ($119,460) and the District ($175,208), with an aggregate total of $294,668 for four officers for the 2025-2026 school year. Additional services for extended school year/summer enrichment are billed separately. Terms and conditions regarding indemnification, insurance, governing law, and other contractual clauses are provided.
