ActiveThis Member Participation Agreement is between Butler Rural Electric Cooperative, Inc. (the Cooperative) and a Member for the purchase of output from the OurSolar community solar projects. The Member agrees to purchase the output of up to 10 (335-watt) solar panels. The agreement term is indicated as either five, 10, or 20 years, commencing in 2026, with an automatic month-to-month renewal thereafter. The rate for the solar output is determined by Rate Schedule CS-36, set at $0.11157 per kWh, and replaces a portion of the Member's wholesale power charge. No upfront payment is required, with the Member's obligation solely based on energy produced. The agreement includes additional terms and conditions covering aspects like early termination, which may incur a $50 per panel fee in certain voluntary termination scenarios, and assignment.
