Western Oregon University (WOU) is soliciting quotations from experienced consultants to facilitate formation of a sustainable university-wide data governance structure, including clear ownership, roles, and processes to improve data quality and accessibility. The work will proceed in two phases: Phase 1 will form and facilitate a Data Governance Committee Formation Task Force (DGFTF) with workshops, mapping the current ecosystem, and producing a formal Data Governance Committee Charter and a prioritized one-year work plan; Phase 2 will transition responsibilities to the university based on DGFTF deliverables. The contract is to be performed at Western Oregon University, is expected to commence with Phase 1 activities leading up to January 15, 2026, and the estimated value range is $50,000 - $150,000.
