AvailableExperimental Surgical Services is a pre-clinical research lab that conducts surgical research projects utilizing large animal species in acute and chronic research projects. This RFP is for animal housing including, feed, care, transportation and veterinary husbandry for primarily ovine and porcine species with capabilities for caprine and bovine species preferred for durations of up to 365 days with periodic transportation of animals and animal samples to the UMN Twin Cities Campus.

The basis of the system design is early detection, smoke control, fire protection through control mode sprinklers, and fire department response and access.
