AvailableThe project involves the removal of existing systems and installation of a new Rauland nurse call system, including patient and staff stations, dome lights, network risers, cabling, and supporting infrastructure. Construction will take place within active patient care areas, including SICU, L&D/NICU, and medical/surgical units, requiring strict adherence to OSHPD/HCAI requirements, infection control, and hospital safety protocols. The facility is a Type I, fully sprinklered, 11-story, fire-resistive hospital, classified as an I-2 occupancy, with seismic compliance (NPC-2, SPC-2) governing equipment supports. Contractors must coordinate closely with hospital staff to ensure uninterrupted operations, maintain life safety systems and emergency access at all times, and perform work in a phased manner to minimize disruption in occupied healthcare environments.
