The Township of West Orange (Essex County, NJ) is soliciting sealed bids for the OSPAC & Crystal Lake Improvement Project to perform site improvements at the Oskar Schindler Performing Arts Center and adjoining Crystal Lake, including milling and repaving (HMA), excavation and base course work, paver and sidewalk replacement, decorative fencing, stadium/ADA seating, retaining wall reconstruction, curbing, traffic striping and vegetative clearing. Plans and specifications are on file and available for inspection/obtainmen from the West Orange Purchasing Department (66 Main Street) beginning December 18, 2025 for a non‑refundable $50 fee (additional $20 for mailed copies). Bids are to be submitted to the Township Clerk and will be publicly opened on January 7, 2026 at 10:30 AM local prevailing time; bidders must comply with the NJ Prevailing Wage Act and other state/local procurement requirements.

Structural Improvements at Performing Arts Center The project will generally consist of improvements to the Performing Arts Center (OSPAC) by installing additional amenities to the existing performing arts center with the intent to better utilize the facility as a public venue. Improvements will include the refurbishment of OSPAC including the installation of two (2) outdoor pole-mounted speakers, the expansion of the existing stage with the installation of approx. 2,130 SF of rubberized coating for the stage floor, the relocation of existing stage staircase, the installation of window guards and lighting improvements at the existing stage building, the construction of a 10'x20' storage shed, and related work.
