Highly-qualified GC/CM firm led by a strong manager and support team to help plan operations to ensure the safest possible scenario for our students, parents and faculty; to ensure we have the best phasing and logistics plan that addresses site access, site security, storm water management, laydown space and delivery schedules; and to participate as a critical, integrated team member throughout design and construction. Along with traditional pre-construction consulting services, Owner is seeking a GC/CM skilled in working closely with designers to integrate the best in current technology including Building Information Modeling (BIM), life cycle cost analysis and total cost of ownership. This project consists of construction a new, approx. 100,000 SF, three-story building addition directly west of and connecting with the existing Sumner High School Phase 1 structure. The new addition will house approx. 50 classrooms and a range of specialized program spaces, including animal science labs with an adjacent greenhouse, aerospace manufacturing, CAD and digital design classrooms, robotics, early learning and infant childcare facilities, and culinary arts kitchen. This addition will replace existing program spaces. Portions of the existing school will be selectively closed off or demolished and made safe.
