This 1st Amendment, entered into on July 1, 2022, modifies the Transportation Coordination License and Services Agreement between HopSkipDrive, Inc. (Contractor) and Kent School District (Organization), originally dated November 3, 2021. The primary purpose of this amendment is to revise the fee structure outlined in Exhibit B of the original contract. The new fee schedule includes a base fare of $35, a per-mile rate of $2.50, and a minimum fare of $55. Additionally, a variable gasoline surcharge mechanism is introduced, where 30% of the gasoline price exceeding $5.00 per gallon will be added to the per-mile rate. All other terms and conditions of the original agreement remain unchanged and in full force and effect.
