It was also concluded that the council and mayor would self-report a process error to the Iowa Public Information Board and request more intensive future training.

The council meeting involved discussions on various topics, including claims paid and to be paid, the vacation and sale of city property, a potential new bin and dryer project, the annual urban renewal report, internet service provider changes, a deposit for the Homes for Iowa program, building permits, a salary increase for the municipal clerk, and pay requests for the CDBG Housing Program.
